Jimmy is the managing director of the J.M. Morris Capital Management division of Financial Management Associates, LLC, an SEC-registered investment advisory firm. He has provided fee-only investment management and customized financial planning services since 1976. Jimmy is a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, a Registered Investment Adviser. He provides professional services to individuals, families, closely held businesses, estates and trusts, retirement plan sponsors, non-profit organizations, endowments, and other professionals throughout the United States and the Bahamas.

Jimmy earned a B.S. degree in accounting from the business school at Syracuse University. He later went on to earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM professional certification from the College for Financial Planning, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® (AIF^®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. Jimmy also holds FINRA Series 1, 7, and 63 securities registrations as well as his Life, Accident, Health, Variable Annuity and Property-Casualty insurance licenses.

Jimmy frequently participates in ongoing, accredited continuing education courses in investments, financial planning, finance, accounting, business, and taxation. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and the National Association of Life Underwriters.
